Adelaide is home to over 1.3 million people, and is the capital city of South Australia. Many come to Adelaide for its relaxed city atmosphere - a well designed grid city - surrounded by parkland. The city is easy to get around and find your way to where you are going. The city is bound by North South East and West Terrace, and being such a flat city it is easy to walk around on foot.
Trams provide good access around the city and outside, to seaside areas such as Glenelg, a very popular tourist destination just outside the city centre.
Other attractions in Adelaide include the many arts and music festivals held annually, including the Adelaide Festival, Future Music Festival, Parklife and Sterosonic and Splendour on the Grass.
Hotels and Apartments here are based in the city centre, and vary from budget serviced hotels and apartments to luxury 5 star hotels.
